Rice Pielof

This is one of Wes' absolute favorites!  Wes' Mom use to make this all of the time, I'm not exactly sure where she got the recipe though.  This is a side dish that goes with just about anything, chicken, pork, or beef.  And I can honestly say that I ALWAYS have these ingredients in the cupboard.  This is always a favorite with the kiddos, what kid doesn't like rice and pasta!  Don't tell him I posted the recipe, it's suppose to be a family secret! :)

Rice Pielof

2 Tbsp Oil
2 Lg. Hand fulls of Wide egg noodles
4 Cups H20
1 Cup Rice (not minute rice)
5 Chicken bouillon cubes

Brown noodles in oil.  Remove from heat, add H20, rice and bouillon cubes.  Bring to boil, cover, let simmer for 10 minutes.  Stir w/fork, simmer another 10 minutes.  Stir w/fork, remove from heat.  Let stand 20 minutes.
