Sweet Italian Sausage Pasta

Another YUMMY recipe! :) One of my Aunts shared this recipe with my Mom and I, I think she might have gotten it off of Allrecipes.  It is a very tasty dish and super easy to make.  You can control how spicy you want it with the red pepper flakes, we like it to have a kick!  Since I have little ones eating it, I mix everything besides the red pepper flakes, take some out for them and then add the red pepper flakes to our liking.  It's perfect served with garlic bread.

For any of my followers, I LOVE to try new recipes! If you would like to see your recipe on here, or one that might not be yours but you think is delish, please share.  You can email it to me at Caylabarrett@gmail.com or post it on here under the comments.   I would love to try them!

Sweet Italian Sausage Pasta

1 Box Bowtie pasta cooked
1lb Sweet Italian Sausage (I take the sausage out of the casing, and crumble)
1/2 tsp Red Pepper Flakes
1/2 cup Diced Onion
3 Cloves Garlic Diced
28oz can Italian style tomatoes (drained)
1/2 tsp Salt
1 1/2 Cup Heavy Cream
3 tsp Parsley

In frying pan cook sausage, once its almost done add onion and garlic.   Add red pepper flakes, tomatoes, salt, heavy cream, and parsley, bring to simmer.  Simmer for 10-12 minutes, let thicken.  Add to cooked pasta.  Serve with garlic bread.

Enjoy!

  1. I make this stuff at least twice a month for my family, it is always a hit!!! I switch it up SOMETIMES by adding some bell peppers or mushrooms, but the original recipe is so good. We NEVER have any left over. :)
