Cheesy Potatoes

Delicious!  This is an old family recipe, my Mom always made these for the holidays.  We love these cheesy , they aren't too cheesy, perfectly creamy, and brown to perfection!

Cheesy Potatoes

1 Can Cream of Chicken Soup Mix (not diluted)
1 tub of sour cream (small tub)
1 8oz bag of sharp shredded cheddar cheese
1 bag of frozen hash browns (cubed not shredded)

Mix together the Cream of Chicken soup, sour cream, and cheese.  Add frozen potatoes.  Mix well.  In 9x13 pan, smear butter all over bottom and sides, leaving chunks of butter around corners.  Pour in potato mixture.  Cut a few pats of butter and lay on top.  The butter makes for perfectly browned cheese potatoes.  Bake in 350 degree oven for 45-60 minutes, or until golden brown.
